A – We provide the first basket of logs for the wood-burning stoves in Bovey, Dart and Plym cottages.

A – Broadhempston Community Shop can provide almost anything you want – just half a mile away. Otherwise there is a Co-op in Ipplepen, Morrisons in Totnes and Sainsburys, Tesco and ASDA in Newton Abbot, all within a 20 minute drive of Lower Knowle Cottages..

Q – Is there a restaurant nearby?
A – Yes we have two popular village pub/restaurants in Broadhempston – The Monks Retreat and the Coppa Dolla. Q – Have you got off road parking?
A – Yes, there is a car parking with ample parking spaces.

A – Not really. Because of our hillside location there are steep slopes around the site, and all cottages are approached by steps up to the front door. Also the bedrooms and bathrooms are only accessible by using stairs.

A – Yes, we have a small on-site laundry with one washing machine and one tumble dryer. There is no fixed fee for  using these machines, but we instead ask for donations which will be given to a charity at the end of the season.

A – Dart and Plym Cottages have a large fridge-freezer, Teign Cottage has an under-counter freezer and Bovey Cottage has a freezer box in the fridge,

A – Yes – Lower Knowle is family run and the owners are generally available on-site for any queries or to report any problems to.

Q – Is there anywhere to store bikes?
A – Yes, there is one section of a barn set aside for bicycle storage. We also plan to provide equipment for repair on request.
